Date Established: 2011

Mission: To enable families to be self-empowered to monitor, manage health at home, with the help of professional healthcare experts. We take a broader view of health, beyond just weight, blood-pressure and such. For example, we include “home” in which people live as part of health equation (eg, home environment, safety). We also combine some other modules, such as health incentives, to keep family members engaged in managing their health. For example, a grandma can earn “incentive points” by keeping her health milestones and use those incentive points towards gift to her grandson.(some of these modules are not yet in the product, but that is the roadmap we have)

What’s Next: Next step is to continue to improve usability based on the user feedback. We will also embark on additional marketing channels to expand customer base. Providing a mobile interface is in the pipeline too, although many seniors are more interested in ease-of-use on desktop itself rather than smart-phones because of latter’s restricted screen size.
